This Privacy Policy describes how RecruiterView ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our recruiting operations platform at getrecruiterview.com (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information we collect
Account and contact information
When you register for RecruiterView, we collect your name, email address, organisation name, and any other details you provide during account setup. If you contact us, we retain the content of that correspondence.
Usage data
We collect information about how you interact with the Service — including pages visited, features used, actions taken, timestamps, and browser or device information (IP address, browser type, operating system). This data is used to maintain, improve, and secure the Service.
Candidate and recruitment data
As part of using the Service, you will input candidate and recruitment data — including candidate names, contact details, CVs/résumés, and application notes. This data belongs to your organisation (your "tenant"). We process it only to provide the Service to you.
Cookies and tracking
We use session cookies necessary for authentication and Service operation. We may use analytics tools (such as PostHog) to understand how users interact with the Service. These tools may set cookies or use similar technologies. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies, but some features of the Service may not function correctly as a result.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Create and manage your account
- Respond to your enquiries and provide customer support
- Monitor and analyse usage to improve the Service
- Detect, prevent, and address technical problems or security incidents
- Send transactional communications (e.g. account notifications, password resets)
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal data or candidate data to third parties. We do not use candidate data submitted through the Service for any purpose other than providing the Service to your organisation.
3. Multi-tenant data isolation
RecruiterView is a multi-tenant platform. Each customer organisation (tenant) operates in complete data isolation — your organisation's data is never accessible to another organisation using the Service. This isolation is enforced at the application and database level.
4. Data sharing and third parties
We may share your information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Service (such as cloud infrastructure providers and analytics tools). These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for any purpose other than providing services to us. We require all third-party processors to maintain appropriate security and confidentiality standards.
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
5. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymise your data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us at privacy@getrecruiterview.com.
6. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion: request deletion of your personal data
- Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Objection: object to processing of your personal data in certain circumstances

8. Children's privacy
